Maryna Viazovska received her PhD from the University of Bonn under Don Zagier in 2013. Born in the Ukraine, Viazovska was visiting researcher at Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques in France from October 2013. During her two-year appointment at the BMS starting in August 2014, Viazovska will be based at the HU Berlin where she will work together with Jürg Kramer. In the winter semester 2014/15 Maryna will teach a BMS Advanced Course on elliptic curves and modular forms.
